State IT minister Ponnala Laxmaiah, announced that 'Aadhar' services
would be available at all the 'Mee Seva' centres henceforth.
Speaking after inaugurating the services at the RTA office premises
in Khairathabad, the minister said that people who need to enroll afresh
or those who lost their cards or the ones who registered but had not
received their cards could get all these services at the Mee Seva
centres.
He informed that there were more than 6,000 mee-seva centres, while 3,329 Aadhar-enrolment centres were already functioning. He said 2,893 new Aadhar centres would be set up by the end of February he added.
The programme was attended by IT secretary, Sanjay Jaju, APTNGO, MD, P. Satyanarayana and Mee-seva centres, director, Gopinath.
