Zen Mobile Launches 4.3" Ultraphone U4 For Rs 5000

Budget smartphone offers dual-SIM functionality, 1 GHz CPU, and 3.2 mp camera.


Indian mobile manufacturer has added yet another handset to its Ultraphone series called the U4. Similar to its younger sibling U1, this smartphone offers dual-SIM (GSM) functionality. It features a 4.3" capacitive multitouch screen. The phone is powered by a 1 GHz CPU, and has a 3.2 mp camera. On the connectivity front, it comes with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and 2G. The U4 comes pre-installed with the relatively outdated Android 2.3 (Gingerbread), which is something that will disappoint most Android fans. Here's the complete list of features:

The handset comes pre-installed with apps such as Facebook, Twitter, and Opera Mini. While it brings nothing spectacular to the table in terms of specs, the U4 does seem like a good deal considering similar phones in this partuicular price range feature much smaller screens.
